My son is Autistic. He attends Cedar Heights Elementary School and is a student in Mrs. Kellner's class.

She is amazing. She has the toughest job in the school, teaching developmentaly and socially challenged kids. Meltdowns are an everyday occurancein her classroom, and resources are spread very thin.

She truely cares about each and every one of her students. She works very hard to make sure that each is given the best possible chance at learning and goes the extra mile and beyond to make sure it happens.

She communicates with us daily about our son and how his day was. She makes suggestions about what we need to work on at home, and includes us in all that happens at school. My son would not be where he is and would not be as successful as he is in learning if it were not for her.

It is an honor to nomiate her for this award. She deserves it and so much more.
