Mr. Strassburg is an amazing 6th grade teacher. He teaches students in a fun yet organized setting. Each morning starts with a group meeting where each student has a job, such as the national news reporter. He creates a team setting. Mr. Strassburg has not lost his exuberance for teaching despite having non-hodgkins lymphoma. He will soon leave his classroom until spring to receive a bone marrow transplant in Iowa City. Hes primary concern is his students during his absence. We would love to honor him at this time!
