Buster Bar Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients:

 

1 lb chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed

½ cup marg, melted

1 1/3 cups powdered sugar

1 can evaporated milk

1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

½ cup margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ gallon vanilla ice cream

1½ cups dry roasted peanuts

 

Directions:

 

1. Combine crushed cookies and melted margarine and press into 9x13 dish.

Chill in fridge about 1 hour.

2. In saucepan over medium heat, combine powdered sugar, evaporated milk, chocolate chips and

½ cup margarine. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 8 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Set aside to cool.

3. Slice vanilla ice cream into ¾ inch slices and place them in a single layer over chilled crust. Run back of spoon over, smoothing out. Sprinkle peanuts over the ice cream. Top with the cooled choloate sauce. Cover and freeze overnight.
