2010 kindergarten registration The Waterloo Schools have set Friday, April 23rd, as the district-wide date for the 2010 kindergarten registration. Registration will be held for all Waterloo Elementary Schools, with the exception of Cunningham Elementary, at 9:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Cunningham registration will take place at 8:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to register at this time. Registration after this date cannot guarantee your child’s assignment to your neighborhood school due to limits on class size.
Parents are asked to attend the registration session in their attendance area and are reminded to bring some form of proof of their child’s age, proof of address, and a copy of their child’s immunization records. The following items will be accepted as proof of age: birth certificate, adoption record, baptismal certificate, or a letter from your child’s physician. Proof of address may be a utility bill, water bill, or a lease/rental agreement (all must be dated within the past month). Additional information will be provided at registration along with the opportunity to meet the kindergarten teachers and tour the building. If parents are unsure as to which school serves their area, they can call 433-1801 for assistance. For other information, contact your neighborhood school.
